Tucker Tire was established in 1956 by Donald and Rosemary Tucker. Rosemary eventually bought the company and with little business experience soon developed Tucker Tire in to a thriving, profitable business. In 1972, Rosemary was recognized for her business achievements by Jimmy Carter. In 1978 Rosemary was honored as “Small Business Person of the Year” by the United States Small Business Administration. In 1988, Tom and Jim Tucker bought the company from their mother. Tom’s daughter Lisa joined the company full time in 1993. “We are very proud of our family business,” say Tom and Jim. Tucker Tire’s main focus is customer satisfaction and our company philosophy is to create trust through honesty. The fact that our sales force has over 100 years combined experience speaks to the fact that we value our employees as much as we do our customers. All being from neighboring cities such as, Azusa, Covina, Duarte, Glendora, La Verne, Monrovia, San Dimas and West Covina they care about our community and it’s residents.
