Why am i giving these guys 5 stars when they hardly ever answer the phone... Cuz they're honest!
If you know Tucker Tire then you know that their phone is always ringing and no one seems to answer. OK, maybe they do answer every now & then (if you're lucky!)
You need to just show up and don't bother calling ahead...
They have a large crew who are always working (a true team)
Brad and the sales guys are honest and quote the BEST prices in South OC (maybe all of OC ~ Not sure since I've never checked)
If you want a fair no haggle price then this is your shop.
Expect to be in there for at least an hour but never longer than two.
I've been going here for YEARS!
Ask anyone who lives in the 949 area code and they've heard of Tucker.
I ordered tires and wheels through Tucker Tire as I have used them before and they have great competitive pricing. When I showed up the wheels did not fit my car. Tucker tire ordered the wrong ones. Simple mistake but I was bummed as I live 1.5 hours away and didn't have time to come back anytime soon. Jeff Tucker took amazing care of everything and truly went above and beyond to make it right. He re-ordered the correct wheels, through them in his truck with the tires all mounted and balanced, and DROVE 1.5 HOURS TO MY HOUSE!!!!! He personally delivered them to me so I didn't have to make the trip. All with the same price it was originally. I was blown away. They have always had great customer service but this was just incredible. More than I would have asked for. I am definitely a loyal customer after this. My driveway is starting to look like a Tucker tire catalog lol. Use them for tires and wheels, you won't be disappointed.
I've been coming here for years to have tires installed on my cars, trucks, and Motorhomes. And it's always been a good experience with customer service as well as the competitive prices. (See prior review)
However, today was a different story. I brought my truck in due to what I believed was a suspension problem. The truck would shudder or shake violently. I've never had any front end work done here but I've noticed the alignment pits on my prior visits. So I limped my truck over there on Monday (3-12-18) to get it checked. I was told I would have to have an appointment. So, I made an appointment for Thursday 3-14-18 at 4 pm. On Thursday I was told the problem with the truck was my front end suspension needed work (bushings and arms) and I was quoted $501 dollars. I was told that I would have to bring the truck back in the morning so the work could be done. I dropped the truck off at 7:30 on Friday. I was called at approx 10:30 and advised that my truck was ready to be picked up. When I returned to pick up the truck, I was told it was taken for a test drive and it's stills vibrates and shakes, And the reason is because my center drive bearing needs to be replaced, and "we don't do that here".
My concern is, shouldn't I have been told what the problem was when I brought it in on Thursday for an estimate ? Or maybe a phone call while it was there?
I was assured that I had worn front end parts, that needed to be replaced. However, I brought it in for the vibration. I explained to the tech what the problem was, and that wasn't addressed.
Now I have to take it to another shop to address the problem that I brought it to Tucker for. And I'm $500 poorer. ? Not the level of service and professionalism I had expected from Tucker Tire.
Tucker tires staff and co are the best! Wish the hours would be a bit longer, but we all have families. I get it. Thanks for your awesome
A thank you card was sent to me. Wow! I didn't think this happened anymore. On the back it was handwritten, not a computer label and a free offer. I love Tucker tires! I almost want to go and work for them. They seem to care for their employees and customers.
But your tire in the back store get it installed in the front part of the store and in and out under an hour!!!
