Have purchased tires from them before and had a great experience. This time I needed my rear brakes replaced and they offer this service. The cost was around $150 with tax for a Cadillac SRX. Not only was the price good but they were fast. My car was ready in about an hour after they called me to tell me to verify the rear brakes need to be replaced. I am happy that I went to Tucker Tire. Will be back for new tires when it's time.
Had a right rear blowout 50 miles from home and stumbled onto Tucker (classic car, needed tube also). Few places will deal with tubes tires, let alone do them right. Brian was very helpful, got back on the road in under an hour. Went back and got new set of tires, went back again for alignment check, no charge because it was OK. Excellent shop, old school. I will keep driving the 50 miles, it's worth it!
I ordered tires and wheels through Tucker Tire as I have used them before and they have great competitive pricing. When I showed up the wheels did not fit my car. Tucker tire ordered the wrong ones. Simple mistake but I was bummed as I live 1.5 hours away and didn't have time to come back anytime soon. Jeff Tucker took amazing care of everything and truly went above and beyond to make it right. He re-ordered the correct wheels, through them in his truck with the tires all mounted and balanced, and DROVE 1.5 HOURS TO MY HOUSE!!!!! He personally delivered them to me so I didn't have to make the trip. All with the same price it was originally. I was blown away. They have always had great customer service but this was just incredible. More than I would have asked for. I am definitely a loyal customer after this. My driveway is starting to look like a Tucker tire catalog lol. Use them for tires and wheels, you won't be disappointed.
Another visit, another 5 star effort by the folks at Tucker Tire Co.
Stopped by because the tire pressure light has been on for some time (If you ask the wife she will say that it has been on for a month. But the wife isn't writing the review so I will say a week or so). After checking the tire pressure on all tires the gentleman said the tires were within manufacturer specs. Also, none of the tires was lower than the others so he concluded that it wasn't a leak but rather the sensor. The young lady that was working with him then filled my tires with air and reset the sensor for me.
If they would have charged me a couple bucks I would have paid it. But instead, the lady said I didn't owe them anything.
It's the little things like this that will keep me coming back to this spot.
Had a flat tire the night before so I decided to go ahead and replace all four at the same time. I went to their website and saw that they had the tires I needed. Props for having tire prices and inventory all listed on the site.
Knows how to take care of each customer even when busy. Very professional, friendly, and careful attention to all my needs. Sat in the waiting room for 30 mins. Kind of stuffy in there but you get use to it pretty fast. Better than smelling tires and other fumes outside. The wifi is also much appreciated.
After everything was done, I inspected each tire to make sure everything was good. I guess I took a while because they came by to make sure I was okay. This small gesture tells me these people aren't just mindlessly doing only enough to not get in trouble. It builds a lot of trust in me and I'll be coming here for all my future tire needs.
I've been coming here for years to have tires installed on my cars, trucks, and Motorhomes. And it's always been a good experience with customer service as well as the competitive prices. (See prior review)
However, today was a different story. I brought my truck in due to what I believed was a suspension problem. The truck would shudder or shake violently. I've never had any front end work done here but I've noticed the alignment pits on my prior visits. So I limped my truck over there on Monday (3-12-18) to get it checked. I was told I would have to have an appointment. So, I made an appointment for Thursday 3-14-18 at 4 pm. On Thursday I was told the problem with the truck was my front end suspension needed work (bushings and arms) and I was quoted $501 dollars. I was told that I would have to bring the truck back in the morning so the work could be done. I dropped the truck off at 7:30 on Friday. I was called at approx 10:30 and advised that my truck was ready to be picked up. When I returned to pick up the truck, I was told it was taken for a test drive and it's stills vibrates and shakes, And the reason is because my center drive bearing needs to be replaced, and "we don't do that here".
My concern is, shouldn't I have been told what the problem was when I brought it in on Thursday for an estimate ? Or maybe a phone call while it was there?
I was assured that I had worn front end parts, that needed to be replaced. However, I brought it in for the vibration. I explained to the tech what the problem was, and that wasn't addressed.
Now I have to take it to another shop to address the problem that I brought it to Tucker for. And I'm $500 poorer. ? Not the level of service and professionalism I had expected from Tucker Tire.
