Defender LTX M/S
Got new rims and tires for my 2017 Chevy truck. I got there at 7:30 when they opened. Scott took great care of me and gave me the pointers I needed to give my truck the look I wanted. I am extremely satisfied. The guys in the shop really make the place shine. Fast, efficient, professional. I will go here for all my tire and wheel needs in the future and I live in Huntington Beach. Thank you Tucker Tire!
I am thinking this business has no need for my review as it already scored five stars! Well, it's about time that Yelp has to add another star for this super awesome place.
Dave and Bernie are always so helpful and friendly, no problem is too big when you are talking with them.
I have purchased tires for my cars here and had them patched at various times, and EVERY single time, their prices are fair and honest.
At their busiest times, it is still worth the wait as you know you are giving good honest people business and to keep them in business.
And to top it off, their waiting room is nice and toasty on a cold winter day.
the light came on in my car and I thought I had a nail in my tire. I took my car here and they told me the tires were just low on air. They filled all my tires up and turned the light off at no charge. I will absolutely go back when I need new tires. All the workers were super nice as well. highly recommend.
This was my first experience here and I have to say that I am beyond satisfied. I had called about 20 different tire places for quotes on 4 new tires for my car and tucker tires was the best deal. Quoted me around $302 for tires over the phone but I had asked about the wrong size. When we got there and made sure, we figured it would cost more since the size was wrong. The cheapest one they had was sold out and would take a day to come in. I couldn't wait so he offered the next best one but knew we were on a budget. It went being $100 more than estimated before! I was devastated but!! Jeff who was helping us really kept our budget in mind and reduced it down to $340. It was still more than planned but was a great deal!!!! I will definitely come back again. Great customer service!!!
Been coming here for years and wouldn't trust my cars to anyone else. As a "car guy", it's good to see that the guys that work here know what they're selling, know how to properly install what they sell, and overall just care about getting the job done right. For example, I've taken many tires here to be patched and have never had one leak. The one and only time I take one to a big chain store to be patched since Tucker isn't open on Sunday, guess what happens....
These guys are always busy and I usually try to make appointments for as early in the day as possible, but they really do try to get everyone out as quickly as possible given the amount of cars these guys see from the moment they open.
A great crew and great service that's reasonably priced.
I've been coming here for years to have tires installed on my cars, trucks, and Motorhomes. And it's always been a good experience with customer service as well as the competitive prices. (See prior review)
However, today was a different story. I brought my truck in due to what I believed was a suspension problem. The truck would shudder or shake violently. I've never had any front end work done here but I've noticed the alignment pits on my prior visits. So I limped my truck over there on Monday (3-12-18) to get it checked. I was told I would have to have an appointment. So, I made an appointment for Thursday 3-14-18 at 4 pm. On Thursday I was told the problem with the truck was my front end suspension needed work (bushings and arms) and I was quoted $501 dollars. I was told that I would have to bring the truck back in the morning so the work could be done. I dropped the truck off at 7:30 on Friday. I was called at approx 10:30 and advised that my truck was ready to be picked up. When I returned to pick up the truck, I was told it was taken for a test drive and it's stills vibrates and shakes, And the reason is because my center drive bearing needs to be replaced, and "we don't do that here".
My concern is, shouldn't I have been told what the problem was when I brought it in on Thursday for an estimate ? Or maybe a phone call while it was there?
I was assured that I had worn front end parts, that needed to be replaced. However, I brought it in for the vibration. I explained to the tech what the problem was, and that wasn't addressed.
Now I have to take it to another shop to address the problem that I brought it to Tucker for. And I'm $500 poorer. ? Not the level of service and professionalism I had expected from Tucker Tire.
