Been coming here for 20+ years. Outstanding service, prices and aftercare. I own 4 cars and wouldn't go anywhere else for tire service. My last visit, I needed 4 tires for my truck. I went there when it opened and was out within the hour. While waiting, I googled the tires I was buying at other places. I was saving 30% from a "marked" special at America Tires. This place has never done me wrong. I was there 4 days ago with a nail in my tire. Not once did they asked for $$, they simply said, "These are our tires. We got you." I was out in 20 minutes. The customer service, product and everything else can't be beat.
I really can't even begin to explain the customer service here. I've been going to these guys for a looong time and I don't even live in the area anymore. I would literally get my car towed here if I had to before bringing it to any other tire shop. These guys are the best and always get the job done in a timely matter!
Excellent customer service and great prices. My family has been coming here for years. There are two buildings in the same alleyway one is the storefront for shopping and paying for transactions, the other is where you drive your car around to be serviced. I recommend taking a day off of work and scheduling your service during the week, because it's pretty busy on Saturdays. I had my service on a Thursday and it took about an hour and a half. There is a small waiting room and some outdoor seating as well. There are coffee shops, restaurants, and mom & pop shops within walking distance if you don't want to sit and wait.
I've been coming here for years to have tires installed on my cars, trucks, and Motorhomes. And it's always been a good experience with customer service as well as the competitive prices. (See prior review)
However, today was a different story. I brought my truck in due to what I believed was a suspension problem. The truck would shudder or shake violently. I've never had any front end work done here but I've noticed the alignment pits on my prior visits. So I limped my truck over there on Monday (3-12-18) to get it checked. I was told I would have to have an appointment. So, I made an appointment for Thursday 3-14-18 at 4 pm. On Thursday I was told the problem with the truck was my front end suspension needed work (bushings and arms) and I was quoted $501 dollars. I was told that I would have to bring the truck back in the morning so the work could be done. I dropped the truck off at 7:30 on Friday. I was called at approx 10:30 and advised that my truck was ready to be picked up. When I returned to pick up the truck, I was told it was taken for a test drive and it's stills vibrates and shakes, And the reason is because my center drive bearing needs to be replaced, and "we don't do that here".
My concern is, shouldn't I have been told what the problem was when I brought it in on Thursday for an estimate ? Or maybe a phone call while it was there?
I was assured that I had worn front end parts, that needed to be replaced. However, I brought it in for the vibration. I explained to the tech what the problem was, and that wasn't addressed.
Now I have to take it to another shop to address the problem that I brought it to Tucker for. And I'm $500 poorer. ? Not the level of service and professionalism I had expected from Tucker Tire.
I had initially purchased six tires from an online tire business for my motorhome. Two of the six tires were almost eight years old (DOT codes was 2211). Talk about dangerous. So, after sending the two tires back to the online business, a friend of mine recommended Tucker Tire Co. I spoke with Carl and he sold me the two additional tires I needed at a great price. I will definitely shop here again when I need new tires for my motorhome. Thank you!
I always like to go this place because
1. Best prices
2. Fast and efficient
4. They are not for money for they are for quality and make customer happy.
I have been there couple of times about 2 years within 2 years 2 different reason. I went to another tire place cheap or good rating but they were all same. They told me I need to replace new tire because tire not good and not fixable and they asked me regular market price. But they didn't have tire in stock and asked to me come back. So I look around and found TuckerTire they checked and told me I don't need to buy new tire this tire is still good condition another least 20k miles. They fixed. Another service not related to tire and they told me I don't need that service they gave me refund and charged me only $20 for checking service. That's why they not after your money they gave your best service and save your money and tine. Go ti this place and you will see.
Let me start this by saying I'm very particular about the way I'm treated as a customer. So having said that there is a reason why I only deal with Tucker store for all my tire needs it last called CUSTOMER SERVICE!! this place REALLY appreciates their customers and it shows in every aspect from the phone , to in person at the sales desk or the shop nothing but a class act here
Tucker tires is the greatest place to get rims and tires in Southern California the owner Jim is beyond customer service and a very kind and generous man was referred by a friend over 10 years ago and I now drive from Long Beach to go Vino because of his pricing quality and service they are truly the best tire company out there sincerely Edward Yawitz
